Collection Services

all carts

PSSI collects garbage, recycling, and compost from the Faculty/Staff Housing residents on the Stanford Campus. In October 2023, new carts and a handy kitchen pail were delivered to all customers.

You must use the new carts for collections services. Old personal landfill/garbage carts are no longer serviced.

The new cart sizes were determined by the customer’s level of service in September 2023. If you would like a different cart size or additional service, please contact us.

Carts are available in the following sizes: 35-gallon, 64-gallon, and 96-gallon.

CHANGE IN PROGRAM – “Concierge Service” for your landfill cart will now be offered for a fee.

If you do not want to take your new, wheeled carts to the curb, you can pay for PSSI to provide you with “Concierge Service” (Backyard Service) for a fee.

Residents with medical exemptions will continue to receive this service at no additional charge (a form is required). To continue to have PSSI bring your landfill cart to the curb for a fee OR to request a medical exemption, please contact us.

PLEASE NOTE; The concierge service & fee do not apply to Peter Coutts or Pearce Mitchell residents.
